Msheireb Downtown Doha is the world’s first fully smart and sustainable city district.. Its masterplan combines contemporary design with Qatar’s heritage, creating a downtown that uses advanced technology and eco‑friendly strategies to offer highly connected workplaces, environmentally responsible buildings and an engaging lifestyle. Many of its buildings carry LEED Gold or Platinum certifications and the district is underpinned by a smart infrastructure with over 430 km of fibre‑optic cable, more than 6,500 Wi‑Fi access points and around 650,000 connected devices.
