We infuse excellence in research, design, engineering, or delivery and quality of architecture. This commitment is inspired directly by the culture of excellence inherent at Qatar Foundation.

Msheireb Downtown Doha is a blueprint for sustainable urban regeneration and we believe in sharing its knowledge and experience with the industry.
Msheireb Properties innovates by challenging convention and finding new ways for people to live and work in integrated, enriching and sustainable communities.
innovation creates a positive impact on society, contemporary culture and the environment. That’s why our architectural style is truly modern but also sensitive and responsive to the local climate and cultural norms.
Essentially, this involves reviving and leveraging the lessons of local heritage and culture. Such an innovative approach led to the creation of the “Seven Steps”, a process that integrates the spirit and aesthetics of Qatari architecture with the best that sustainable design and modern technology have to offer. This new architectural language restores the unique quality of Qatar’s built environment and affirms the strong social ties that define Qatari society.
We set new benchmarks for sustainable, transformational and culturally sensitive developments.
Our flagship project Msheireb Downtown Doha, the world’s first sustainable downtown regeneration project, exemplifies this approach. We are also pushing the boundaries of sustainability, such that most buildings within Msheireb Downtown Doha earned LEED-Gold or Platinum certifications.
We are a leader in redefining how people will live and work in urban environments. Through our projects, we set new standards in property development and became one of the most respected real estate companies in the world.
Msheireb Properties adopts a knowledge ecosystem inspired by Qatar National Vision 2030, through which we deliver cultural, societal, environmental and knowledge wealth for our stakeholders.
Fundamentally collaborative in our approach, our partnerships include a multifaceted research project with the Harvard University Graduate School of Design to study “sustainable urbanism in the Gulf” and produced the Gulf Encyclopedia for Sustainable Urbanism – a document that encourages best practice in this critical area. Ultimately, the project, which involved researchers from Qatar and across the Arab world, paves the way for the creation of a permanent research facility in Qatar.
Msheireb Properties also is proud to sponsor the Chair of Architecture at Qatar University. Moreover, we are always open to new partnerships that will bring value to both parties and the wider community.
Msheireb Properties is committed to being a responsible corporate citizen that respects local culture and community, heritage and the environment. We uphold the highest standards of corporate governance, ethics and environmental policy.
Our sense of responsibility is reiterated by our membership at the Qatar Green Building Council (QGBC). QGBC is a not-for-profit, membership-driven organisation that is leading and promoting environmentally sustainable practices for green building design and development in Qatar.
We apply a high standard of ethics and invest in best practices across our operations. Furthermore, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030, we are committed to supporting local talents and are actively working towards greater Qatarisation.
